The alternative rock band will play in Wilkes-Barre April 19.
It was announced today that longstanding alternative rock band Blue October will perform at the F.M. Kirby Center on Friday, April 19 at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets go on sale Friday, January 18 at 10:00 a.m. and are available at the Sundance Vacations Box Office at the F.M. Kirby Center, online at www.kirbycenter.org and charge by phone at (570) 826-1100. A Kirby Member pre-sale begins Wednesday, January 16 at 10:00 a.m.
Known for shimmering rock songs and haunting lyrics, Blue October have made waves on the airwaves with albums such as 2009’s Billboard Top 15 debut, Approaching Normal, 2011’s Billboard Top Ten debut Any Man In America and the Platinum-selling Foiled.
The band is best known for their platinum singles, “Hate Me” and “Into the Ocean.” In all, the band has enjoyed 11 top-40 singles. Their newest album, I Hope You’re Happy was released to rave reviews this past August.
